The Opportunity

The Associate, Business Development & Marketing Programs, supports the day-to-day coordination, research, reporting, and materials management needed to help LNW’s Business Development and Marketing teams work effectively together. This role is a strong fit for an early-career professional who is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with data and systems, and interested in learning how business development and marketing support growth in a relationship-driven wealth management firm.

What You Will Do

CRM & Pipeline Operations

  • Salesforce Support: Help maintain accurate prospect records, COI relationships, pipeline stages, and activity notes across the BD and Marketing teams.
  • Pipeline Tracking: Update BD pipeline reports on a regular cadence, track stage progression, and flag items that may need review or follow-up.
  • COI Relationship Data: Help maintain LNW's Professional & COI database, including relationship owners, engagement history, referral activity, and outreach notes.

BD–Marketing Coordination

  • Planning Support: Help coordinate BD-Marketing planning sessions, including agendas, action items, shared calendars, and follow-up notes.
  • Shared Activity Calendar: Maintain visibility and available metrics/insights across LNW client and COI events, external networking events, Marketing content calendar, and external public relations.
  • Request Coordination: Help route advisor and Marketing requests, approvals, and deliverables so work moves efficiently between teams.

COI & Prospect Research

  • Prospect Research: Conduct background research on new prospects and referrals, compiling professional profiles, network connections, and relevant context to prepare advisors for first meetings.
  • COI Research: Research Centers of Influence and summarize relevant background information to support outreach planning and relationship tracking.
  • Sponsorship and Partnership Support: Assist with logistics, tracking, and follow-up for sponsorships and partnerships that support business development priorities.

Content & Materials Management

  • BD & Marketing Library: Help organize and maintain LNW's library of BD and marketing materials, including pitch decks, capability one-pagers, tailored decks, and other key outreach collateral.
  • Materials Support: Assist with updates to standard materials for specific prospect or advisor needs, while following brand and compliance guidelines.

Reporting & Analytics

  • BD Reporting Support: Help prepare recurring reports covering pipeline activity, advisor activity, COI engagement, and referral source information for BD and leadership review.
  • Dashboard Maintenance: Help maintain shared BD-Marketing dashboards and review data for accuracy before reporting is shared.

Advisor Enablement

  • Outreach Support: Support advisors with prospect and COI outreach coordination, including scheduling touchpoints, preparing draft communications, and tracking follow-up activity in Salesforce.
  • Advisor Support: Help field BD-related requests, connect advisors to the right materials or contacts, and keep follow-up items organized.

What We Are Seeking

  • 0-2 years of experience in business development, marketing, client service, operations, or administrative support; financial services or professional services experience is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort maintaining accurate information in systems such as Salesforce or another CRM.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders.
  • Clear written communication skills, including comfort drafting professional emails, meeting notes, brief summaries, and basic reports.
  • Comfort working with data, spreadsheets, and recurring reports; ability to identify inconsistencies and ask good questions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Salesforce, Marketo, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Professionalism and discretion when working with sensitive client, prospect, and firm information.
  • Curiosity about business development, marketing, and relationship management in wealth management.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.

Compensation and Benefits

We provide a competitive salary commensurate with your experience and skills and offer a meaningful annual bonus based on company and individual performance. The anticipated salary range for this position is $75,000 to $84,000 in San Francisco and $72,000 to $80,000 in Seattle (i.e., reporting to SF or SEA as your home LNW office at least 2 days per week). This salary range applies to the current posting and may change in the future based on factors such as education, job-related knowledge, experience, skill set, and location.
