Nature of the Role
As a senior member of the Trust Resources Group, the Senior Wealth Manager provides oversight of the key fiduciary relationship leadership, adhering to governing documents, state laws, and regulations governing trusts. The Senior Wealth Manager serves as a leader and subject matter expert on trust and estates for both the Trust Resource Group and Client Service Team. Maintaining community relationships and supporting growth of the business are key to long-term success. The wealth manager fosters a collegial environment in which team members feel empowered to deliver their best work and clients feel the comprehensive support of a highly attentive team in a family-office styled service model.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Comprehensive understanding of trusts, relevant regs & trust law.
- Has ultimate responsibility for serving the client including various trust relationships.
- Partner with client service team to provide outstanding service to our wealth management clients.
- Design and guide the implementation of managed investment portfolios consistent with each client (or client entity’s) investment policy statement and approved company investment policies, practices and procedures. Bring detailed knowledge of the client’s goals and objectives, risk tolerance, tax situation and unique considerations to the ongoing implementation process. Bears ultimate responsibility for setting and meeting client goals and expectations.
- Lead client meetings. Responsible for strategic oversight of development of agenda and materials, and coordination of post-meeting follow up items.
- Proactively develop, communicate and implement wealth and financial planning strategies for clients, integrating detailed and complex information from the client’s situation and the markets.
- Exercise sound judgement in making discretionary decisions. Ensure adherence to the terms detailed in the trust document & processes for documenting discretionary distributions. Partner with other CS team members to support decisions.
- Lead financial planning analysis including projections, estate planning, tax, Medicare, Social Security, Insurance, etc.
- Demonstrate a business development mindset and commitment by actively developing referral networks, advancing personal competency and reputation, participating in company business development and community engagement efforts, and supporting prospect meetings as assigned.

Education and Experience
- Often fifteen or more years’ industry experience, including ten years of trust and relationship management experience.
- Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience in the financial services industry.
- Certification (Series 65 or other) required. Strong preference for JD, CPA or equivalent knowledge.
- Interest in supporting the cultivation of an inclusive and client-centric work environment and supporting the long-term financial health of LNW.
- Comprehensive understanding of trusts, relevant regulations and trust law in multiple jurisdictions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to independently complete, manage, and delegate projects which include multiple tasks.
- Exhibits a strong dedication to continuous improvement and skill development.
- Interest in building a successful career within an inclusive and client-centric firm.
- Fluent knowledge of trusts, markets, investments and financial planning.
- Familiarity with operational and financial custodian processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong listening abilities.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite are required. Other software applications, such as Addepar, Dynamics CRM and MoneyGuide Pro are a plus.
Candidates must meet all employment qualifications in force at time of hiring, including successful passing of background & credit checks and any pre-employment examinations, signing of all employee agreements, and have the ability to perform the essential functions, duties and responsibilities set forth in a consistent and efficient manner.
Compensation and Benefits
We provide a competitive salary commensurate with your experience and skills and offer an annual bonus based on company and individual performance. The full salary range for this position is $200,000 to $250,000, depending on location and experience.
